Introduction

Split systems consist of 2 parts - an outdoor heat pump and indoor “hydro-box” unit, for heating, and an additional storage cylinder for hot water. Refrigerant pipe work connects the outdoor to the indoor unit for minimal energy losses and greater system flexibility.

Ideal for: all housing of any size both new build and retro-fit and can be modular (multiple units).

The latest addition to the Daikin Altherma range is the HT 'high temperature' system, capable of water temperatures up to 80°C using a cascade based refrigerant cycle. This specialist system is available in 3 models, single and three phase. For heating and hot water there are 2 cylinder sizes available (200/260L).

Ideal for: very large older residential properties but mainly commercial applications such as hospitals and restaurants, where higher temperatures are needed for constant sanitation.
